Description of the studies:
 

The aim of the studies is to provide the necessary and reliable knowledge in the field of labor law, legal forms of employment, payroll issues and personnel documentation, as well as taxes and social insurance as related to employment. Employees already working in HR and payroll positions will benefit from these studies by being better prepared for challenges in their professional development. The studies will prepare candidates for the increasing recquirements and expectations set by the employers. These studies are intended for graduates of higher education (BA or MA) in any field of study.


The main advantage of the studies is their practical approach - the mode of studies assumes confronting theoretical knowledge with the requirements of practice, in particular through project-based classes, analysis of judicial trends, case studies and exercises.


The incredible value of the studies is reacting to the ongoing changes in the legal environment. During the course of studies, planned and newly introduced changes in the provisions of the labor law and other acts important from the point of view of HR and payroll services are taken into account. Vast majority of the classes are devoted to labor law and payroll issues supplemented by a course on communication and motivation in order to facilitate effective cooperation in a team and building understanding in the work environment.

Lecturers:

prof. WSZiB Dr. Danuta Klucz - graduate of master's studies and postgraduate studies at the University of Adama Mickiewicza in Poznań, doctor of legal sciences in the field of law, academic teacher, currently employed as a professor at the University of Management and Banking in Poznań. He is interested in various areas of law, in particular labor law, civil law, economic and financial law. The leading area, however, is labor and social security law. Her interests also include social policy, banking and the Social Science of the Church. Author of press articles and book publications. Professionally associated with the banking sector, where she performs advisory functions and deals with the area of ​​complianse. He conducts training courses for banks in the field of labor law, human resources policy and corporate governance.


Piotr Pietrzak, MA - a graduate of the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań. He obtained the master's degree in law and administration by defending his master's thesis related to labor law. Practitioner of labor law, for over 16 years professionally associated with the supervision and control of compliance with the provisions of labor law and occupational health and safety. He also provides legal advice in the field of labor law. He specializes in road transport, in particular in the field of legal regulations regarding drivers' working time. As part of cooperation with training companies, he conducted classes in the field of labor law.


Artur Różycki - Director of the Department of Development Strategy of ENERGA S.A. He started his professional career in the auditing and consulting company Ernst & Young. He participated in projects related to the copper metallurgy, telecommunications industry and power engineering. During the transformation of the power sector in 1997-2003, he and his team restructured the customer service area in Energetyka Poznańska and ENEA SA and implemented IT solutions supporting this area (including billing systems). He co-founded the Energy Consortium West, leading the contract management and billing administration team. In the years 1998-2006, the president and vice-president of the management board of EnergoPartner. Since 2003, director of the customer service department of ENEA and ENEA Operator. From February 2008, vice-president and president of the management board of ENEA Operator from July. Since 2011, he has been a member of the EDSO Association, which aims to promote cooperation between distribution system operators in the field of grid standardization and development. In the years 2008 - 2013 he was also the president of the Polish Society of Transmission and Distribution of Electricity (PTPiREE). dr Michał Wyszkowski - for almost twenty years professionally associated with the supervision system for compliance with labor law in Poland; his scientific and professional interests focus on administrative proceedings and labor law. For years, he has been cooperating, as part of his didactic activity, with universities in Wielkopolska (including the Poznań University of Technology, Poznań University of Life Sciences), employers' organizations, trade unions, professional associations, as well as with the Training Center of the National Labor Inspectorate in Wrocław. He is the author of publications in the field of labor law, occupational health and safety, administrative proceedings and European law in the field of labor protection. Since 2005, he has also been cooperating with the institutions of the European Union - the Directorate General of the European Commission for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion and the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work - implementing various projects in the field of broadly understood labor protection.

Admission conditions:
The condition for admission to studies is the submission of documents, including a copy of the diploma of completion of bachelor's or master's studies, and payment of the enrollment fee.

Completion conditions:
The condition for graduation is to pass the subjects in each of the six modules included in the program in the form of tests and obtain a positive grade in the final test in the form of a test or a final thesis, as well as attendance at the level specified in the Regulations of postgraduate studies (Here you will find the Regulations). After completing the studies, the student receives a Certificate of Completion of Postgraduate Studies.

Duration of studies:
The program covers 140 hours. The studies will last two semesters in the extramural system, in Saturday and Sunday sessions, planned once a month from November of a given year to June of the next year. Classes will be conducted by lecturers and practitioners in the field of labor law and other fields covered by the study program.

IMPORTANT:

In 2020/2021, classes as part of postgraduate studies are planned on a full-time basis at the University's headquarters, and a hybrid solution is also possible (as part of the conventions, one day of classes will be held in a full-time form and one in a remote form). Due to the epidemic and the uncertainty of the related situation, the University reserves the right to replace these forms with online classes using the Google Hangouts Meet system, if, due to the introduction of sanitary restrictions or restrictions, it will not be possible to conduct classes in a full-time mode. Information on the mode of conducting classes will be posted on the University's website immediately after making such a decision.
